We're sorry to see you go. Use this page to request deletion of your BotanAI account and data.
Before You Delete
- • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- • Your garden, plants, and growth timeline will be permanently removed
- • Community posts and comments will be anonymized or removed
- • Active Pro subscriptions should be cancelled first via Google Play
What Data Will Be Deleted
Deleted immediately:
- • Garden and plant data
- • Growth timeline photos
- • Care reminders
- • App preferences
Retained for legal/safety:
- • Transaction records (7 years)
- • Abuse reports (if applicable)
- • Anonymized analytics
How to Delete Your Account

Delete on Your Device (Fastest)
BotanAI stores your data on your device, and no account is created, so clearing the app's data or uninstalling permanently deletes it:
- 1. Open your phone's Settings
- 2. Go to Apps → BotanAI → Storage
- 3. Tap Clear storage (or simply uninstall the app)
- 4. Your garden, photos, reminders, and preferences are erased
Processing time: Immediate

Request via Email
Send an email to privacy@botanai.app with:
- • Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
- • Any support emails you've sent us that you'd like erased
- • (Optional) Reason for leaving - helps us improve
Processing time: Within 30 days
Submit Deletion Request
Deletion Timeline
Day 1: Request received, confirmation email sent
Days 1-7: Account deactivated, data queued for deletion
Days 7-30: Data permanently deleted from all systems
Day 30: Deletion complete, confirmation email sent
